Journal Cover with Handmade Roses

Recently, I conducted a workshop for a birthday party for a 13 year old girl and her 23 friend. The mother of the girl and I decided that since it is a return gift too, we should go for an item that will be of use to the girls. Finally, after much discussion we thought to decorate a book cover with handmade flowers will be a good idea.
Here's what we made -
For this project, firstly covered the books with Papericious Printed Paper with the help of Ranger double-sided tape. For the background, we used Tim Holtz stencils with Dina Wakley Gesso using Ranger palette knife. For the flowers, we've used Spellbinder's rose creation die using Sizzix Big Shot Machine. The flowers are first distressed with Ranger's distress inks and later embossed using Mcgill Paper Blossoms tools. I sprayed the flowers with my favourite pearl mists and added glossy accents dots. The label is cut with spellbinders oval dies and the sentiments are from Penny Black dies.
I hope you like the project.
